No Comment

Day One hundred thirteen: I found out the comments weren't working on my blog today. I don't get many comments when they are working, but I can't help but wonder if maybe I missed a few. That would be disappointing.

The neat part, however, was that a reader (and blogger I follow) hunted me down on facebook to let me know. Kelly sent me a personal message, so that I could look into it. I just thought that was really considerate and extra. Such a kindness to show a virtual stranger. She took time out of what I'm sure is a very busy schedule to do this.

I did look into it and look and look and look. After about an hour I realized that somehow my settings had been changed to say "new posts don't have comments." I have no idea how, but I have a theory about little fingers pushing buttons when I'm not looking...but it's only a theory. Anyhow, I changed it back, but it didn't fix the problem for my past posts. At least the last 20 posts were still set not to allow comments. So I went in individually and corrected the problem. I'm not really expecting comments on past posts, but I like consistency. I'm a detail person. Anyhow, I hope the problem is corrected. I guess we'll all find out together with this one.

Thank you, God, for Kelly being so considerate. No, having comments on a blog really isn't a big deal in life, but she took the time for such a little thing. I just really appreciate it. Thank you, God, for giving us opportunities to bless each other in big and little ways. Thank you for the blessings we receive as the givers and receivers.
