Full of Living

Day One Hundred: Today was full.

It started with picking up around the house and doing dishes and such before mom got here to watch Ariel.
Then...
  • went to the office for an hour or so
  • came home and ate breakfast and held Ariel because she was not feeling really great - she's cutting some more teeth
  • ran some errands - bank, Ollie's, Walmart, Lowes
  • back home and did some laundry and cleaning
  • went to McDonald's for lunch...yummy, not healthy
  • brought lunch home to eat with mom and Ariel
  • more cleaning and put Ariel down for her nap
  • visited with mom...this was nice
  • more cleaning, organizing, laundry, and straightening
  • Ariel up from her nap and re-dressed
  • Chris, Lindsey, Silas, and Savannah arrived
  • tax day Tea Party at the waterfront with the family - Jason's parents met us there
  • picked up dinner from Bob-B-Q's
  • back to the house to eat and visit and play (and take pictures)
  • Chris and Family left around 9:15 and Ariel went to bed...she's still chatting now, but quietly
I'm tired. It was a full, but good day in many ways.

Thank you, God, for days so full of life that I am exhausted and completely ready for bed. Today was productive, fun, interesting, and a little hectic at moments. It was a good day...I think I'll sleep well. Thank you for sleep...I'm looking forward to it...ah, just remembered I put on clean sheets this afternoon. Ah.

What's this about? I decided on my birthday to make a commitment to being intentionally thankful. I challenged myself to post one thing I am thankful for everyday this year.
