Day One hundred fifteen: Jason has been helping me out a lot this week. It has really made this week pass more smoothly. Earlier this week he even offered to help me deep clean the house this weekend because I had been stressing about how much needed to be done (and the more I stressed the less motivated I was to actually get started).
He told me he would keep the weekend clear and put on his "mopping gloves and dust bunnies" to help. I love him! I'm really looking forward to cleaning together this weekend. We're considering doing late night cleaning...well, only late if you consider it late after Ariel goes to bed at 8:30. That way we still get to enjoy our weekend, but the cleaning happens too. Plus Jason is a night person.
Maybe cleaning together like this is normal for some of you - it's not for us. We don't like cleaning very much, neither of us do. We don't make more time than necessary for it. It needs to be done though. We get that and I am so excited that I just said "we."
Thank you, God, again for my husband. Thank you for his sensitivity to my stress levels. Thank you for the way he acts upon my needs and wants. He is great. I love him. Please help me to be there for him the same way he is there for me.
What's this about? I decided on my birthday to make a commitment to being intentionally thankful. I challenged myself to post one thing I am thankful for everyday this year.

VERY cool! Chris is still trying to finish up his school work. He worked all day today, took a break for supper and is back at it again. He's got 1/2 a paper and an exam left, as well as recording himself preaching the sermon he wrote today. He's been pretty good about being involved despite it all but we're both ready for it to be done. Silas actually helped me clean earlier this week. He was so cute. Tomorrow morning I hope to get laundry finished. The rest of the house will just get picked up in the evening!
