One hundred five: Today was a jeans and t-shirt kind of day. In a good way.
I didn't have anywhere to go. I didn't have anyone I needed to see. The weather was comfortable and nice.
The day went that way too. Nice and comfortable.
Ariel and I played together. We read books. She moved chairs around. She talked on a lego phone. I made cookies for the freezer. We ate grilled cheese sandwiches. We drank smoothies. We sat outside and walked around the yard. We drank water beside each other. We folded diapers and put away laundry. We talked to her daddy on the phone. We hugged our puppies.
Just a nice, easy, comfortable day. Nothing intense. Nothing scheduled. Plenty special.
Thank you, God, for good days. Thank you, God, for today.
What's this about? I decided on my birthday to make a commitment to being intentionally thankful. I challenged myself to post one thing I am thankful for everyday this year.
