Day Forty-three: I'm excited. I went to Harris Teeter today for some great deals. I came home with all this and only spent $15.87. I saved $70.98 with coupons - granted that's with Harris Teeter pricing. Seriously though, it is entirely possible that I could have spent that much for those three frozen pizzas alone! I could have found more deals, but I could only use 20 coupons. I'm considering going back this weekend while I'm at my mom's for a few more deals. Maybe.
I am thankful for weeks like this at Harris Teeter because it makes it easier for us to live on one full income (with a few extra dollars from part-time work). I am thankful for the bloggy ladies who take the time to find all the deals and coupon match ups and post them on the web. I only spent a fraction of the time they did because of their thoroughness.
Thank you God for the money we have to live on. Thank you for our jobs. Thank you for the time to seek out money saving deals. Thank you for the practically free food (and such) that we now have in our house.
What's this about? I decided on my birthday to make a commitment to being intentionally thankful. I challenged myself to post one thing I am thankful for everyday this year.
