Day Thirty-five: Tonight my best friend and her family are staying with us. It makes me happy. We don't get to see each other much. We live about 5 hours apart. This won't be a very long visit, but I plan to enjoy it all even so. I miss my friend. We try to stay in touch through phone calls, facebook, blogs, and snail mail, but its not the same as visits.
Ariel is really enjoying Jessica, my friend. I have been delighted with the way Ariel took to her tonight. She was really sweet.
Thank you, God, for this time to visit with my friend, limited as it may be. You have blessed me with a forever-friend in Jessica. Thank you for our years of friendship (and that we grew up).
What's this about? I decided on my birthday to make a commitment to being intentionally thankful. I challenged myself to post one thing I am thankful for everyday this year.
