Shout Out Saturday 1/30 and 2/6

I didn't take the time to post last week, but I did read some really good stuff. I don't want to ignore those things, so I'm gonna post two weeks worth of goodies this week.

Treats from 1/30:
You can be frugal and socially appealing - This article dealt with some myths about the limitations of living a frugal life. I appreciated some of the points...and the insight into how other may view frugal habits.

Rice Warmers - We use warm rice to relieve pain a lot in our house and I find it comforting. I've never considered other things we could do with it or making my own in a variety of sizes to fit my needs. Cute idea. Maybe even a gift idea...heehee.

Letting Go of Unrealistic Expectations - This was another revealing post. It was about improving your marriage, but the writer applied her ideas to her own marriage first. I can respect those kinds of tips. Nothing crazy new, but a few good reminders put in a new light.

Challenge Yourself - A motivating post about learning more about photography and where to start.

Salsa - I just want to make this and eat it. MMM. Makes me want to go to a Mexican restaurant, but now I don't have to.

Good Reads for the week of 2/6-
Good Toddler Foods - This is just a post we need in our house right now. Thank you thank you thank you. Just knowing I'm not alone in this struggle is a help, but these are some great ideas too.

Meals and BROWNIES - We are going to have these brownies SOON (and she posted the recipe at my request)! Thanks, Lindsey!

A January Review - This post was just packed with good ideas for "teaching" a little one at home and making the most of the time I have with my girl. I felt challenged by this post.

What to do with that tax refund - A reminder to use the tax refund wisely, packed with wise ideas.

Parental Permission Slip -  It's hard being a parent. Here's your permission slip to do your best and still not be perfect.

Family Blocks - I love, love, love this idea. I am going to make these sometime. I think they would be a wonderful gift for baby too.

"Home Studio" - photography tip I can use...easy home studio

There were a lot of good ones this week. I just can't share them all. What have you read that is worth sharing this week (or last)?
