Stocking up This Month - February

I've seen a lot of lists about shopping recurring seasonal deals. Usually, they are all listed together January through December or Winter through Fall in one post. These are helpful, but I tend to forget to refer frequently enough to benefit from them. I got this idea to post the "stock up" deals on my blog at the beginning of each month as a reminder to myself and to let you know if you don't already know.

In addition to a few groceries for breakfast food and snacks (or baking goods), I plan to do some stocking up this month.  Here are the supposed deals I'll be looking for in February:

According to Hot Coupon World: there may be special deals in electronics, floor coverings, housewares, furniture, candies and chocolates. Also, Quaker stuff, hearty meal stuffs, and pepsi/tostitos (aka superbowl party supplies).

In addition, Organic Grocery Deals says its canned food month so look for canned veggies, canned fruits, canned tuna, canned beans, canned pie fillings (I wonder why this post talks about specific canned foods instead of just plain ALL canned foods - I'll have to check the stores). They also mention that it is nat'l hot breakfast month so look for that kind of stuff (oatmeal, waffles, syrup, etc).
There may be heart healthy foods on special too for american heart month. Doggie deals may abound since the Westminster dog show happens in February. In addition to chocolate and candies, look out for other "valentine" deals. Maybe there will even be Chinese New Year sales like soy sauce, ramen, and such.

One of the blogs I frequent, also mentions frequrent seasonal specials on grapes and citrus fruits in February. She also cites deals for "winter boots, spring raincoats, handbags, fine jewelry, perfume."

Wow, that could be alot of stuff. I'm mostly focused on the food stuffs that can be stocked up on, but I may look into some of the other deals as gifts I could purchase now for later. I'll try to let you know if I find any amazing deals because of this list...
