Day Twenty-eight: Today was another good day. I accomplished some things around the house. I researched some stuff that has been on my mind. I played with Ariel a lot. We had fun dancing, reading, bouncing, laughing. We went to the College for a graduate supper. It was nice. Jason came home from the SMOV meeting just in time for the dinner. I got to talk to a few people that I hadn't spoken to in a while. Now, Ariel has gone to bed. My dogs are hanging out with me. Jason and I are watching Lost.
I just feel relaxed. I have things on my mind a little, but feel no burden to take care of them this minute. Tomorrow, I'll get down to business, but not tonight. That's ok.
I think the times I got to talk with old friends were highlights today. I love real conversations. I love knowing people and them knowing me.
Thank you, God, for good friends and good conversations. Thank you for the way we can "sharpen" one another. Thank you for my friends. Thank you for friends I have much in common with and those from whom I differ greatly. Thank you for friends my age and those older and younger, for those I'm related to and those I hardly know. Thank you for face to face talk, email conversation, even bloggy interaction.
What's this about? I decided on my birthday to make a commitment to being intentionally thankful. I challenged myself to post one thing I am thankful for everyday this year.
