Day Twenty-nine: Jason was sick today. He had a really bad headache (aka a migraine). He gets these semi-regularly based on weather changes and stress - tension headaches that become migraines. He's been to the doctor and gotten some medicine that works pretty good, but for some reason today's migraine wasn't so easy to kick. He missed work. We had to stay home from our church planning meeting and the kick off of the new small group. I was sad. I had been looking forward to these things and he was really miserable.
Around 6:30, he finally started feeling better. It's been nice to hang out with him tonight. I'm glad the headache finally went away. By 9, he seemed completely better. Yay!
Thank you, God, for his relief from this migraine.
What's this about? I decided on my birthday to make a commitment to being intentionally thankful. I challenged myself to post one thing I am thankful for everyday this year.
