It seems I cannot manage to make these posts two weeks in a row, so maybe every other week will do. I enjoy going through my favorites from the week and sharing them with you. I hope some of you check them out, but even if you don't its nice knowing I can come back here and easily find interesting posts.
On to my favorites from this week (and probably some of last week too):
Four-ingredient tomato sauce with ideas- I'm excited about trying this out.
Green Smoothie Recipe - Fruits and veggies! Can't wait to try this. Need to add spinach to the grocery list.
Ideas for Celebrating Easter - I thought these were some nice, thoughtful ideas. Now I just hope I can remember them when Ariel is old enough to appreciate them. Maybe there is something in there that we can start now... I'll have to read it again.
Extended Warranty Litmus Test - I thought this was a pretty interesting way to look at extended warranty purchases. Sometimes we buy them, most times we don't. A few have really come in handy. Like for our flat screen tv and the mac.
Big Kid Pants - This lady is funny. This story was cute. I really enjoy reading her posts. They are smart and clever and honest. A couple weeks ago she posted about getting one of her mice neutered to improve his quality of life. This is one of here "writer's workshop" weekly challenges. Maybe one day I'll participate...until then I'll just be enjoying her humorous anecdotes.
Paying for Being Picky - After trying everything to get her picky daughter to eat, she tried out a new strategy. The broke out the piggy bank and she paid for the food she wanted to throw away without eating.
Frugal, Cheap, Poor - This was a good reminder for me. We are not poor, but I may accidentally make us look that way through unfortunate word choices. We are happy and I am convinced that our frugal decisions make our life better rather than worse.
Balancing Tasks and People - When I read this, I though immediately of Jason and myself. I had never looked at our differences through this lens. Hmm.
Well, that's what I've been reading and enjoying here lately. What about you?
