He can sing.

Another husband post. I think I like him.

Day Sixty-one: My husband can sing. Really, he can. I love listening to him sing, especially the loud "all in" kind of singing. This morning he sang that way a few times during church. I like that. A lot.

Don't worry, I wasn't just listening to him sing. I was worshiping God with him, but sometimes I do take a moment to appreciate Jason's voice. He's gifted. What a blessing from God to be able to sing so clearly, with such passion. Even better, what a gift it is for me to be able to enjoy it just about anytime I want. Jason didn't give himself this voice; it's from God. Jason trains his voice some, but even the credit for the training has to be shared by many over the years. This voice is definitely a gift.

Thank you, God, for music. Thank you for beautiful music. Thank you for the way beautiful music can help us see You. Thank you for giving people beautiful voices. Thank you for Jason's voice and the opportunities he has to use it for You.

What's this about? I decided on my birthday to make a commitment to being intentionally thankful. I challenged myself to post one thing I am thankful for everyday this year.
