On the Sunny Side

Day Fifty-eight: The weather was beautiful today...to look at, not so much to feel. Sunshine was nice though. It looked really nice when I was looking outside from my cozy house. It felt really nice in my car with the sun shining in. That's good enough for me right now. I'm tired of the cold and I do not want snow. Snow is for skiing and tv. I cannot wait till spring and then SUMMER!!!! For now, just looking warm and sunny will do. I am content.

Thank you, God, for the beauty of this world you created. Thank you for the way a pretty day makes up for all the little ickies through out the day or week. Thank you for sunshine. Really, I am amazed at the difference it can make in my day on so many levels. It's a little thing with a big impact. The natural light You created is wow powerful.

Maybe I sound cheesy or shallow, but I am truly grateful for plain ol' sunshine.
