Row Row Row (Your Boat)

Day Seventy-four: We love music in our house. Ariel loves singing and dancing. Wednesday when we picked her up from my parents house after small group, she showed us that she is learning the words to "Row, row, row your boat." Maybe that's an exaggeration. She can sing "row, row, row." She definitely knows its a song though. She now sings those three words everytime she hears music. It's really cute. Here, I'll let you judge for yourself. I especially like the way she told me in the middle that, no, she in fact cannot sing it.

God, thank you for my parents. I really appreciate the way they try to teach her things when she is with them. Just in the last month, she has learned to sing with them and how to find eggs that are hidden (and collect them). They love this little girl.

They aren't the only ones. Really she has an amazing family all around. Last week, on vacation Jason's parents taught her how to climb down stairs.

I was really excited to see her making progress on that one since we were in a three story beach house. She also picked up a little sign language last week...well, kinda. She tried it out after watching Grandma and Uncle John talk that way. She is a blessed little girl.

Thank you, God, for giving us this precious girl. Thank you also for giving us a "community" to help us love and raise her. We can't do it alone.

What's this about? I decided on my birthday to make a commitment to being intentionally thankful. I challenged myself to post one thing I am thankful for everyday this year.
