A good day

Day Twenty-five: Today was a snowy day. It was pretty. I don't usually like snow. Mostly because I really dislike being cold. However, it was fun showing the snow to Ariel. I also enjoyed watching the dogs play in it.

Snow makes a lot of people happy. It was pleasant to "hear" so many good things about the snow today and it seemed to really make for a great day for so many people I know. For me, snow is only good for skiing and I rarely get to do that (way too rarely).

I had a good day, too. Jason, Ariel, and I spent the day at Jason's parents' house. We drank hot cocoa, went to Target and the church, played in the snow a little, ate yummy chicken stew. It was really a cozy, lazy day. The cold didn't even make me miserable once.

Thank you, God, for days that make for good memories. Today was a memory making day.

What's this about? I decided on my birthday to make a commitment to being intentionally thankful. I challenged myself to post one thing I am thankful for everyday this year.
