"Blue Skies, Smiling At Me, Nothing but Blue Skies, Do I See"

Day Nine: Today I have much to be thankful for and I am thankful. It has been a long, but good day. We had a nice visit with Chris and Lindsey and their little ones, Silas and Savannah. A good friend of mine, Angie, came by for a quick visit after we talked a while on the phone. I've been emailing with a good friend, Lisa. Things that needed to be accomplished were accomplished. Things I wanted to accomplish weren't fully accomplished, but so what. It was a good day full of many blessings. However, I must choose one thing that I am thankful for...

I choose beautiful weather. It has been rather chilly of late and I don't really care for cold weather. Today was sunny and warmer. It was beautiful and, even better, tomorrow is supposed to be warmer again - 57 degrees for a high. How sweet it is to have a break from the chill. We will play outside tomorrow. We may go for a walk. We will get our vitamin D. I won't wear a scarf.

Thank you, God, for seasons that change. Thank you for weather that varies. Thank you for the not so warm days that make me stop to appreciate the real warm days. Thank you for the way a sunny day can make me happy inside.
