People Matter

Day One hundred forty two: 30 day challenge...day 19.

Passages. Romans 1:8 ; 1 Corinthians 1:4 ; Ephesians 1:15–16 ; Philippians 1:3–4 ; Colossians 1:3–4 ;
1 Thessalonians 1:2–3 ; 2 Thessalonians 1:3

Thoughts. Paul was consistently thankful for others. He was specific about his thankfulness. Today the challenge is to make a list of people who have made a difference in my life. That part should be easy. The tough part is the second step. That is to think through whether or not I have ever thanked these people for their contribution. The fun part will be part three - getting started thanking those I haven't. Starting tonight with one.

Thank you, God, Miss Rhonda. She taught my junior high Sunday school class. She helped me to understand my need for God more personally. I felt something was missing in my life, but she helped clarify. She made me comfortable enough to ask for help in making a decision. She gave me perspective. She helped me identify my sin. Thank you for using her in my life. Please continue to bless her.
