Day One hundred seventeen: Today the 30 day gratitude challenge continued in Colossians. It's a short, but powerful epistle. A picture of Christ. I realized in my reading that I haven't expressed thankfulness on here for salvation, for the peace I have because I can be, am confident in my salvation, for the challenge I have to live out my faith more passionately because of my salvation. What a gross oversight.
"giving thanks to the Father, who has qualified you to share in the inheritance of the saints in the kingdom of light." - Colossians 1:12
I have purpose and peace and life. Thank you, God, for making a way and offering it to me. Please continue working in me, so that everyday my life is more pleasing to you.
What's this about? I decided on my birthday to make a commitment to being intentionally thankful. I challenged myself to post one thing I am thankful for everyday this year.
