Nasal Relief

Day one hundred fifty five: Alright, I know this one sounds really lame, but I am very thankful for facial tissue. I have been blowing my nose for over a week now at least 15-20 times a day. My nose is suffering for it. However, we have good tissues. They are soft. They are tough. I enjoy them. I appreciate them. My nose is still a mess-I'm rubbing chapstick on it and under it to heal some of the rawness.

I'm pretty fond of the relief I get from blowing my nose. It's even better when I blow it into something other than sandpaper. Too gross for blog talk? I've got lots to be thankful for, even tissues for my nose.

Thank you, God, for creating our bodies so perfectly. I can't fathom thinking of the need to blow noses to clear nasal passages or creating a way to do it. It's amazing. You are amazing. Thanks further for materials that make it more comfortable. My sense of touch is blessed by softness.

I hope this doesn't seem like a silly thing to be thankful for...I really am grateful. I'm trying to have a constant attitude of thankfulness and I think that has to include the seemingly silly things, too.

What's this about? I decided on my birthday to make a commitment to being intentionally thankful. I challenged myself to post one thing I am thankful for everyday this year.
