Just wanted to let you guys know about our change in baby wipes solution. Last week, I mentioned that I wanted to find a more natural recipe to see if it would help clear up Ariel's diaper rash. It worked!! I decided to make a couple of simple changes.
But first, the first solution I was using was: 2 cups water (heated), 2 tbsp baby wash, 2 tbsp baby oil, 2 tbsp baby lotion.
I didn't love that one after a week or so, so I altered it a little to: everything the same but only 1 tbsp of each the oil and lotion. Still I wasn't happy because of the diaper rash. So last week (as I wrote), I decided to try a little more natural.
What I ended up with was: 2 cups of water (maybe a little more, heated), 1 drop tea tree oil, 1 tbsp baby wash, 2 tbsp evoo. I totally recommend this - her diaper rash cleared up immediately and I just love it. Thank you Zany Zebra for the recipe.
I had gotten a little worried that we weren't going to be able to keep doing cloth wipes. Relief.

We've been using cloth wipes with Layla but so far I only use warm water. Her skin is so sensitive and this early on I figure she isn't "dirty enough" to need anything else! Glad you found something that works! That's a good idea with the EVOO. And I love tea tree oil...so many uses for it!
