Ariel is 10 months old

Here are a few videos from this month with Ariel. 

Here she is looking for Jason and clapping when she finds him. I just think it cute. She's so happy to see him.

Here she is practicing signing "more." Yes, it looks a lot like her clap, but we were excited. She has begun to distinguish the two movements a little. The more sign doesn't make sound and her clap does. The other day she grabbed the mouse from my computer when it fell on the floor. When I took it away, she started crying and signing "more." It was cute, but I didn't give it back. 

She has also started signing "finished" when she is done eating. It has been fun to see how she transfers it to other things. Just today she was holding Jason's hand, well he was holding her hand and she turned all the way around, signed "finished" at him, and took her hand away. It's like she was saying - "You're finished holding my hand, Daddy."

In this one, I walked back into the room from the kitchen and found her with the book in her lap looking very much like she was reading it. Later in the video she waves at the book, I think she has discovered that people talk to her when she waves. This book sings if you push buttons on each page, maybe she thought she could wave and make it sing. Who knows?

Here she is dancing or at least I think that's what she is doing. She pulled herself up on on the couch and started bobbing her head like this when this song came on. She does this a lot lately, mostly when music is playing. She did it a little in the book video above when the credits for a movie started running on TV. Just a minute ago, Jason was watched this video again and she started dancing across the room with the music.

She's a cute little girl. These videos may have been a tad too long for you, but not for me. It's hard to cut anything from her videos.

An extra video...

This is Halie. She got in trouble for eating one of Ariel's cheerios, so I told her to leave the room (aka "Out"). This is what she did. I'm not sure why, she hasn't done this before. She is climbing into Truck's bed. This bed is just the right size for Truck, maybe even a wee bit too small for Truck. I guess it was just right for Halie at the moment. It amused me.
