A Schedule

Well, I've decided its time to work out a daily schedule, a flexible one of course, but some kind of routine is necessary. Ariel is about 3 months old now and can handle some routine, plus I need it.

So far I've planned out daily cleaning/organizing tasks -
Mondays - Ariel's room, Tuesdays - Bathroom, Wednesday - Kitchen, Thursday - Our Bedroom, Friday - Living areas (three rooms), Saturday - any room that got left out, Sunday - Rest

Everyday I pick up the whole house and do dishes, Monday, Wednesday, & Friday - wash laundry & diapers

I want to work out a meal planning day - probably Saturday or Sunday for now since I've just started cooking and I don't have a huge arsenal of meals, so it takes some research.

Today I'm planning to start working on a daily schedule with Ariel - approximates of when she eats, sleeps, & plays - and kinds of play. So far our usual day looks like this:

7:30 - 8:30 - Ariel wakes, eats (1), plays with daddy while I take care of dogs, eat breakfast, etc.

8:30- 10 - Ariel and I hang out - mostly talking, bouncing, reading, tummy time

10-10:30- Ariel eats (2)

10:30 - 11:45 - Ariel takes a little morning nap & I get to shower

11:45 - 1:00 - we play some more & take a walk and then she sits in her bouncy seat for a while and I do some computer stuff (budget, blog, facebook, email) & eat lunch

1-1:30 - Ariel eats (3)

1- 4 - Ariel naps and I do my cleaning, picking up, & other things on my to do list like work

4-4:30 - Ariel eats (4)

4:30 -5:30 - I prep for dinner and try to keep Ariel entertained in between tasks

5:30 - 6:30 - daddy gets home and we eat dinner

6:30 - 7:00 - Ariel eats (5)

7:00 - 8:15 - Ariel plays with daddy while I clean up dinner and take a little break

8:15 - 8:30 - Ariel eats (6)

8:30 -9:30 - we play and soothe

9:30 - bedtime routine - bath (Mon, Wed, Fri), massage, eat, sleep

There are a lot of holes in this routine and things I don't like though, so I'm trying to organize it better. Any tips? I guess I'll work on this some more tomorrow.
